1. How do
I book?
The preferred method for receiving bookings and enquiries is from
our online enquiry form, which can be found at
http://www.RascalsCastles.co.uk/contact.htm , alternatively you can
telephone us on 07745696848 / 02380362685, you can email us or you
can fax us on 07092084462.
2. How
much notice do I need to give for a booking?
You can book anytime however we get very busy over the summer
period so please
book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
We welcome last minute bookings.
3.
How much does it cost?
Please see the inflatable page for all prices, prices may vary
depending on your intended use i.e. back garden / charity or
distance from Southampton, Hampshire.
4.
What do the prices include?
All bouncy castle booking prices include local delivery, you
may charged a
small fee for
deliveries more than 5 miles away from Southampton, but this will be
included in the final price, so no hidden surprises! (please contact us for delivery rates).
You will also receive a blower, extension cable, circuit breaker
and safety crash mats, the price also includes set up, inflation and
packing away on
collection. Most of our Bouncy Castles come with sun / rain
showers too!
5.
When are your bouncy castles available?
Our castles are available 7 days a week all year round
including Bank Holidays, Christmas & Easter etc.
6.
How long do I get the equipment for?
Most parties are in the afternoon and so we will deliver and
set up your castle between 9 am and 12 noon. We will then
come and take the castle away after your party has finished
usually from 5 pm onwards although pick up time can be
arranged to suit, but it can be no later than 9pm (extra
charges may apply).
7.
Do you hire overnight?
Under certain circumstance this can be arranged, but there
will be a small charge for this, please
contact us for more info.
8.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No deposit is required.
9.
How do I pay?
You can pay online using our PayPal payments page at
http://www.RascalsCastles.co.uk/paypal.htm
Cheques must be received by us at least 14 days before the
event, alternatively you can pay cash on the day.
10.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel at anytime, all we ask is that you give us as
much notice as possible. If no notice is given you may incur a
cancellation fee.
11.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately Bouncy Castles cannot be operated in wet or
windy conditions due to safety reasons, please see our
Southampton Weather page. Rascals Castles reserve the right
to cancel any booking for any reason at any time with out prior warning.
12.
Can the bouncy castle be set up on a slope?
No, this is not possible however if it is a very, very
slight slope it may be ok, you will need to discuss this
prior to the booking.
13.
How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the
inflatable?
The bouncy castles take approx 20 minutes to set up and 30
minutes to pack up. However this is only an estimate, times
may vary depending on which castle you hire, for example an
Adult Bouncy Castle takes longer to pack away than a
Childrens Bouncy Castle, and a Bouncy Castle used outdoors
takes longer to pack away than a Bouncy Castle used Indoors.
14.
How much space is needed?
You will need to allow a minimum of 5 feet at the front and
rear of castle and 2 feet either side. This is to allow access
and the blower at rear. For example, a 15ft by 15ft inflatable
would require a minimum clear space of 20ft by 17ft.
Please ensure all garden items such
as garden toys, swings, slides, dog mess, patio furniture, rubbish etc.
are removed from the area where the castle is to be sited,
also there should be no over hanging trees are bushes.
PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to
ensure that there is enough space for us to unload and
inflate our equipment in your chosen location. If we arrive
and find that there is not enough space, you will be
required to pay the full price.
15.
When I hire the castle is there anything I need to provide?
You
will need to provide a standard house hold plug socket (240v), also you
will need to provide 2 forms of I.D. i.e. Drivers Licence,
Utility Bill etc. this forms part of the hire agreement. We
supply all the hardware you will need for the castle.
16.
Do you supply safety instructions?
Yes we provide detailed safety instructions with every hire,
we can also provide risk assessments, operating procedures, a method statement
and risk assessment upon request.
17. How do
you secure your inflatable's to the ground?
We use ground steaks,
which are approximately 12" long.
18.
Is there an age limit for children using the castle?
Yes, the age limits are as follows:
Moonwalk Style "Disco Dome" - 11
Standard Childrens Bouncy Castles - 11
Small Toddler Bouncy Castle - 6
Gladiator Duel / Joust - No Age Limit
Adult Bouncy Castle: No Age Limit
Sumo Suits - Minimum: 7, Maximum: None
